This website was created many years ago as a result of my interest in web design and web development. At that time, it was necessary to use HTML to create static web pages, and server technology (e.g. PHP) to create dynamic web pages.
I realized that if I were to become a skilled web designer, I should work on it full time. Instead, I ended up working as a web editor for 8 years and webmaster for 11 years. In addition to following up on my two great boys, my hobby as a musician in a local concert band required regular practice. Then there was little time left for other activities and the website was put on hold.
At the end of 2020 I read about the digital transformation in a report the Norwegian Government presented to Stortinget. That triggered many questions. I’ve have found some of the answers, but many remains: How will the digital transformation affect us as individuals? Businesses? Websites?
During my search for answers, I realised that there will be major changes for most of us within a relatively short time period. There is a lot to keep up with, and many new concepts to learn and relate to. So from now on I will share my pondering, questions and answers in a blog named Nettdesigneren.
